Code and text in customize section not saving, not delete

Subfolder parameter not used when rendering images in /admin/upgrade

Can you change (or remove) hamburger menu icon?

HTML digest emails exclude quotes from topic body if accompanied by text

I investigated the Preview Digest and notice that the quote is actually included in the text version of digest, but not in the HTML version.

"Advanced Search" for private messages not triggering properly

However when you search in private messages Advanced Search is not triggered properly, is when it opens nothing gets applied in Adanced Search … so it’s not at all clear why it’s being triggered in the first place, which is really confusing :persevere:

In fact the search term being applied in the search box is “private_messages:{username}” whereas the search term applied when you tick the corresponding advanced search option (“Only return topics/posts… In my messages”) is “in:private”

So, in summary a fix to this would be, when you search from Messages page and click “Search messages” tickbox, Advanced Search opens up with the correct search selection applied, like this:

i hope that’s all clear… it would certainly help our users (and other users relying on private messaging) at lot.

Initialising a discourse forum on a Ghost Blog

Would that be due to no entries for that particular topic? Do I need to create the first topic entry in order for a discourse discussion link to be visible in the ghost blog post?

The use-case is typical. I would like to use the blog as a means for folks to access discourse, place a registration request, I approve it, then they can post against a topic which is then visible on the blog.

Any help would be much appreciated.

How to create an api key on the admin panel

Rebuild HTML and Rebake doesn't work for some images!

POP3 polling error

I have verified using ruby net/pop that my credentials works. The polling interval is also set to 5 minutes and it has only failed 5 times in 24 hours. It has been happening for about 2 days now and I am just not having any luck tracking down the issue.

Create a "reports index" page

About page with metric charts similar to the new admin dashboard

I’m thinking of the many contributors with higher trust level here, who may see indicators for a well-grown community, not essentially administrators only. Maybe have such statistics only available for a specific trust level configured in site settings. This allows to disable this entirely for sites which don’t like their data that exposed. Still I do believe that such graphs and metrics are great for the public domain.

This likely would require more than just caching the metrics and graphs, maybe a good idea to render the charts into static PNG on an hourly basis. This could prevent high loads on the server when many users click “about” or attempt to play around with DDOS in a curl script.

This is not an immediate request, first off the admin dashboard should be finished with 2.1. It would be great though if development and code would be prepared for such a thing on the long run :slight_smile:

Unsaved edit of a subcategory returns 404

The category description was updated and hopepage started to show the new category name and pointed to the new slug. However, clicking those links returned 404

Solution was to manually visiting the category by entering the old slug in browser and then editing it again.

Expected behaviour is to either display the old category if the changes were not saved or if edit description is complete, returning the editing user to the category editor.
