Hi, I feel sort of stupid for posting this, but am not sure how to approach this. I enabled the option to allow email replies to topics and it works (for the categories). I basically set up separate email addresses in MS Exchange for each category in Discourse that I wanted to enable email for, and then forward those into one main "forumreply@mydomain.org" email address**. Email replies to topics has been working fine. Now, I encountered something I didn't plan yet...email replies to private messages.
So I got an email notification about a private message that she sent me...
I reply to the email and got the bounce-back below...
Would each user need to forward their registered email address to the same "forumreply@mydomain.org" email address that I have set up to receive replies from other forum categories? This doesn't seem how it should be... Am I missing something ?

how can i enable my users to comment direct on my pages and have the post and related replies appear on the page (as well as in the forum). Hosting is adobe business catalyst so no serverside coding allowed on the site but i can use a middleman server to do the authorisation. Can I do that with the api?

There are two documentation:
can be moved to Transifex as they are indeed initialized for every new Discourse instance. It's fair to move them out of the docs.
Accept a PR?

Hi
What would be a way to get custom value from profiles of authors of post that are "Likes Give" by current user?
I'd like to have a list of those values on each page that current user visits.

Continuing the discussion from Patching the heartbleed vuln in a docker image?:
Today OpenSSL announced a big list of vulnerabilities and updated releases for those vulnerabilities:
https://www.openssl.org/news/vulnerabilities.html
What is the suggested plan for upgrading? Will there be a new Docker image? Should admins plan to go in and update OpenSSL manually somehow?

I've pushed a simple IIS app to https://github.com/laktak/discourse-sso that allows users to login using their Windows accounts without them having to enter their password.
The app has no UI except for an error page in case things go wrong.

Are these lurkers only, making it a valid and useful indicator of general interest in the forum, or could this stat include automated / false traffic?

For the longest time, there was no way to see a directory of users on a given Discourse site*. But thanks to @eviltrout, now there is!
Goals:
This is by no means a primary page for Discourse, it's more of a nice to have. So we don't have to agonize over getting it just right.
Show who's most active on the site (kind of a low-intensity "leaderboard"), your core users.
A basic directory of people who exist on that Discourse
Check it out at
https://meta.discourse.org/users
Feedback welcome. Are we showing the right data here? Does it make sense? How could we make it clearer, or better?
* other than search, sort of, but that assumes you already know the username of the user you want to find..

Beautiful. But as @watchmanmonitor said there should be an admin option to restrict visibility of the user directory.

I think I've been staring at this blindly ever since installing Discourse, but the German translation for "screened X" in the admin backend is cringe-inducingly wrong -- and I can't fix it in Transifex due to lack of permissions to edit reviewed translations.
Can I get reviewer rights?
Alternatively @gerhard, would you mind changing that to "Gefilterte X"?
From merriam-webster.com:(1) : to examine usually methodically in order to make a separation into different groups (2) : to select or eliminate by a screening process (3) : to test or examine for the presence of something (as a disease) <patients were screened for hepatitis>

These email are not different from others, some emails are in the same thread
I didn't find any error on sidekiq, poll works fine. How can I debug it?
Just for your information, It's an hosted istallation, so I can't access to backend

Hi. I've searched around but couldn't find an easy way (via the admin page) to set the name field as required or to remove it so I can create a custom one that is required.
Sorry if this is a basic question, I am at a loss. :/

Looking over the German Transifex translations, most cases used "Du" (with an uppercase "D") and few use "du" (with a lowercase "D").
I would love to help improving this, but I found no rule to follow.
My question:
Should I use uppercase for "Du", "Dein", "Dich", etc. or lowercase?

For the standard badge queries that link to posts e.g. 'Nice Post', wouldn't it make more sense to timestamp the badge with the time it was granted, rather than the time the post in question was last modified? The alternative would be to have the act of liking update the post last modified timestamp, but that may conflict with edit history…
