This is maybe a little misleading for a (continuous) line graph. There are two “correct” solutions to this, in my opinion:
- Ensure that all dates are included in the x-axis, even with no data; or
- Change to a bar graph, which shows discrete, rather than continuous, data.

On the surface, it looks like they are aiming to hit a sweet spot between Slack and Discourse. This blog post is a good introduction, as well as their comparison pages for Slack and Email.
Like Discourse thread (e.g. topics) are first class citizens, they have decided against a presence indicator.
But like Slack, they have the channels you have chosen to join shown persistently on the left, rather than only having all categories under a dropdown or on a separate page (related topics here and here.
I’m also curious to hear other first hand impressions if anyone else here has played around with it.

Just upgraded to 1.9.0.beta4, and the problem persists, which is this:
No matter what I do, I cannot get the system to send out ANY email for password change/reset.
- Pressing [Set Password] button in profile – Says email sent. But nothing in Email-Sent list.
- Pressing [Reset Password] button from admin on a user – Says email sent. But nothing in Email-Sent list.
- Pressing [Forgot Password] button upon login – Says email sent. But nothing in Email-Sent list.
Wierd thing is, all OTHER emails are sent just perfectly fine.
As such, my forum right now has the unique restriction of never being able to change passwords for any user. Anyone who forgets his/her password I need to delete the old account, and create a new one. This is a huge hassle.
I’ve searched through the Internet and doesn’t seem to find any solution to this.

http://forum.mycompany.com/invites/01fbda899b5553dbe235ce9a501cf6bf
And the ${domain_name} variable expands to the IP address as well instead of the proper domain name.
And yes, the [company domain] is set properly in Settings, and I’ve even went in and edited discourse.conf to set the right hostname.
Is there something I’m missing?
