Since there is no clear list of narrative bot filenames (that I know of), I simply searched for narrative and the majority of results relate to 8-ball and quotes. I couldn’t see a single relevant file.

Thankfully I found a link to part of the discobot welcome message, and using that insight I searched for new_user_narrative instead to find a whole list of text elements that I had never found before.

Is it correct that search results should be limited to the Top 50 with no indication that there were more results not showing?

Also, regarding the Narrative Bot, would it be possible to pull this process together in some way, or give some list of filenames and order, so we can edit it with a clear overview?

This is a rather big UX change, as user were accustomed to the localized group names. A bug or a feature, @codinghorror?

Then ran ./discourse-setup which complained that “DISCOURSE_SMTP_USER_NAME was left blank”

I ran (and get the same result everytime) ./launcher bootstrap app :

Any ideas what I have missed?

Careful with this plugin, it can easily be used for abuse by hiding text and making text unreadable.

2. I allow access to less secure apps for this account already, so is there anything for me to do here? The error appeared only once in my log and email seems to be flowing.

Slack + Discourse Plugin is another example

Though Slack is emmensely popular, my preference is to put my energy into the social media alternative idea of diaspora*.

I would be willing to financially contribute to the development of a seamless level of diaspora* + discourse integration and by that I mean diaspora* features appear within Discourse as an integral part of each User Profile instead of an external app with a SSO Trust Relationship.

Your thoughts anybody?

Repro: as an admin, make a PM to yourself. There’s no wrench
