Hola!
We are noticing that duplicate pages have started being indexed by Google, for example:
curl -I -L http://mydiscourse.com/t/this-is-a-test-topic/1
=> HTTP/1.1 200 OK
and
http://mydiscourse.com/t/this-is-a-test-topic/1?page=5000000
=> HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Ideally the latter (non-existent) URL should 404 or redirect, it seems the current behaviour is to render the correct (former) URL, but with a status 200 (unless I'm mistaken).
This is running v0.9.9.9, though I notice the same behaviour is present on meta.discourse.org
which I assume is running a newer release.
Any help appreciated; apologies if there is an obvious solution.

Hello everyone,
i can't create new categories in my fresh install of Discourse.
I don't know how to look for what went wrong either.
I tried to create a new category with default settings, but it just doesn't work. I can edit the old ones.
Im running Discourse with the Docker install. I installed it how it was stated in your github repo. Im using Debian 7 and did it exactly like you said in the guide. I also use Mandrill for my E-Mail delivery.

In case you wan't that i post some logs. Say me where they are located and i can paste them.
I guess im running the latest version, because i installed it last night.
I have a screenshot in case it helps.

The welcome message gets some prepended text if the new user came to the forum by way of an invitation. There's a minor typo in there - see screenshot. But the real issue for me is that this template text is not editable by admins. It's very good already but I think admins will want to customize it a bit.
I also do think the message should come from the inviter or at least the inviter should be included as a recipient in the PM, and the inviter should be given an opportunity to write a brief personal message to the invitee.

I just invited a handful of people to my forum who attended a webinar yesterday. Much to my gratification, they are starting to accept my invitations. I see this in my notifications:
The next step in my workflow is then to take a look at the user's profile and send them a PM. Unfortunately, when I click on the notification it takes me to my invite list and not to the profile as I would expect.
This would be ok if I could easily find the invites that have been accepted and work my way through them. But the invites are listed in apparent random order, redeemed at the top.
To make this list more useful, I'd like to suggest that a third column is added for the date Invited , and that the list be sortable by email, date redeemed, or date invited.

Hi, Andrea here from the 8tracks team. We noticed some users are pinning topics globally, which I didn't know was possible for non-admins.
Is this a bug?
If not, how can we prevent non-admins from pinning globally? I couldn't find anything in admin settings.
Thanks!

Okay, I'm fairly certain I know the answer, but we have a few long-time members who solely use Opera 12 (because Opera 15-24 do not include ALL of the functionality that exists in Opera 12, they aren't upgrades, but a rewrite) -- Plus Opera 12 is technically the "latest" version in Linux (there isn't a 15-24 for Linux).
Anyway, Discourse doesn't function well in Opera 12 AT ALL. Composer Window is a nightmare, buttons in the composer window are flake-y, Editing a post, is annoying, as the cursor jumps all over the place, etc.
Should I write these up as bugs or since Opera isn't listed on the FAQ, it is just considered "unsupported"?
And yes, I found this topic , but it doesn't exactly have any discussion...

When you are joining a new discourse install you get a bunch of "badges" for a variety of things, e.g. "First Like" or "First Quote". Sometimes it's also reply notifications that I have already read via mail.
I couldn't care less about these notifications, but for some reason they will always remain as "unread" in the bar until I finally decide to click them because they annoy me so much.
So, the most general approach would be to allow clearing a single or all notifications' unread status. I think it's also debatable whether I have to read badge notifications in the first place.

I'd like to help with the Catalan translation. First thing I wanted to do is review the work already done. I'm finding room for improvement in already-translated strings (for example, the Catalan translation for "This will be replaced by a custom Discourse 403 page." is missing the final dot, and there are some words that are too informal in other strings).
However many of these strings are marked as "reviewed" so I can't edit them on transifex. So, how can I contribute such a kind of fixes?

I guess expected is that only one item at the time selected is.
Steps to reproduce: 1. open profile page 2. select Messages / All 3. select Badges
Expected Result: After selecting Badges Messages / All get deselected
Actual Result: Messages / All stays selected
